Muizza Sukhera builds bridal and event looks for celebrations of every culture, designed to photograph beautifully and hold from the first function through the last dance. All skin tones, all traditions, all welcome.
Makeup by Muizza is a freelance bridal and event makeup business run by Muizza Sukhera, working with brides and guests across the Chicago area. Every culture, faith and skin tone is welcome behind the chair.
Much of the portfolio comes from South Asian weddings, from the dholki and mehndi through the nikkah, and that experience carries into any celebration — a church wedding, a quinceañera, a birthday, a graduation.
Every booking is on location — Muizza travels to you, so there is no salon to reach on the morning of your event. Bridal bookings include a full consultation, dupatta and jewelry setting, and a look built for event lighting and photography.
Appointments are requested online and confirmed with a short contract, so timing, travel and pricing are agreed on well before the day itself.
Starting prices below. Travel is quoted separately once your location is confirmed, and a contract follows once your request is accepted.
Final pricing is service plus travel, confirmed by invoice before your date is locked in. To book more than one person, reach out on Instagram before requesting online.

A 50% deposit and a signed contract secure the date. The invoice covers your service plus travel.
Muizza arrives ready to work, everything set for your event's lighting and timeline.
50% of the total is due to secure your booking. The remaining 50% is due 24 hours before your appointment.
Travel is billed at $50 to $100 or more depending on distance, and appears on your invoice before the date is confirmed.
The full invoice must be paid before the date and time of your booking. Services cannot be completed on an unpaid booking.
Please cancel at least 2 to 5 days ahead. Last-minute cancellations are subject to a $50 to $100 fee.
The online form books one person. For multiple people at the same event, message on Instagram first and a custom invoice will follow.
